Yunsung Jang studied Fine Art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
He moved to New York City in 2011 to attend the New York Academy of Art where he completed his MFA in drawing. He was awarded a Postgraduate Fellowship at the New York Academy of Art in 2013. mHis work has been exhibited in Sotheby’s, NY; Kraine Gallery, NY; Waterhouse Gallery, CA and featured in International Artist Magazine and Strokes of Genius 4: The Best of Drawing.

Artist Statement
In my work, I express my intuitive response to a subject. Each subject brings an obscured self to the work, both rational and emotional. Through representation, I search for what is under the physical layer.
