Feng Lu began studying sculpture in 2000 with Christa Biederbick at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. From 2001 to 2003 he studied with Inge Mahn and Karin Sander at the Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee. This was followed by another study (sculpture and painting) with Prof. Wolfgang Petrick between 2003 and 2005 at the University of Arts Berlin, where he was a master class student in 2005/2006.
